Larger display, D-pad instead of joystick, USB-C port, spring-loaded SD card slot, orange pill design. Product comes WITHOUT an SD card.
The SeedSigner+ is a fully assembled Bitcoin signing device based on the open-source SeedSigner project, in the larger and more comfortable form factor. The display is noticeably bigger than on the classic SeedSigner, so QR codes and seed words are readable without reaching for glasses. A D-pad with a clear click replaces the tiny joystick, power comes in over USB-C (5 V), and the microSD card sits in a spring-loaded slot that clicks the card neatly in and out.
Like every SeedSigner, the device works fully offline and does not remember your seed (stateless): the seed is loaded fresh each session, via SeedQR through the camera or by typing it in, and is gone once you power off. Transactions are exchanged with your wallet exclusively as QR codes, for example with Sparrow, Specter, BlueWallet or Nunchuk. No data cable, no Bluetooth, no Wi-Fi: the Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 inside simply has no radio hardware.
In the box: the SeedSigner+ fully assembled in its 3D-printed case, in orange or black.
Deliberately not in the box: microSD card, image and USB-C cable. You download the current SeedSigner software from github.com/SeedSigner yourself, verify the signature and write it to your own card. That way nobody but you has ever put software on this device, and that includes us.
Who it is for: anyone holding their own Bitcoin keys who wants a bigger display and calmer handling when signing. Also a good pick for parents and grandparents who find the small SeedSigner too fiddly. Printed and assembled by us in Germany, in small batches.
