The aluminium edition is a fully assembled SeedSigner in a machined aluminium case instead of the printed plastic shell. The device sits noticeably heavier and more solid in the hand, the metal draws heat away from the Pi and protects the electronics from pressure and knocks. Available in orange, black, or silver with orange accents.
Technically it is the same SeedSigner as the printed variants: Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 with no radio hardware, 1.3-inch display, camera for SeedQR and transaction QR codes. It works fully offline (air-gapped), does not store your seed and talks to your wallet only through QR codes. Compatible with the usual wallets for single-sig and multisig, such as Sparrow, Specter, BlueWallet and Nunchuk.
In the box: the SeedSigner aluminium edition, assembled and function-tested.
Deliberately not in the box: microSD card, image and USB cable. You download the software from github.com/SeedSigner yourself, verify the signature and write it to your own card, so the chain of trust stays entirely with you.
Who it is for: anyone who will use their SeedSigner daily or for many years and wants a case that does not feel like a hobby project. Small batches; if a colour is sold out, check back in a few days.
