Punch guide for cleanly stamping M8 washers.
Placing a letter punch on a small washer freehand rarely ends well: the punch slips, the stamp comes out crooked, the washer is ruined. The punch guide holds washer and punch exactly in position; you set it, strike once firmly, done. Every stamp sits clean, straight and legible.
Designed for M8 washers with a 24 mm outer diameter and 2 mm thickness, the stainless kind every hardware store carries. One word per washer, and the first four letters are enough (no BIP-39 word shares them with another); 12 or 24 washers make the complete backup. Secure the finished stack on a bolt, a split pin or in the Washer Stack Box from our shop.
Not included: washers and letter punches. Both are cheap standard parts, and you will probably want to pick the punch size yourself.
The result is a backup with no cloud, no vendor and no expensive branded steel plate: fireproof, waterproof and inconspicuous. It does not protect against people who find it, so hide it well and keep a second copy elsewhere. Printed by us in Germany.
