The set for a metal backup that does not look like a metal backup: the BlockMIT for stamping your seed words into stainless M8 washers, plus the Washer Stack Box that keeps the finished stack safe and inconspicuous. Cheaper together than apart.
The BlockMIT holds the washer and guides the letter punch so every stamp comes out straight and legible. One word per washer; the first four letters are enough (no BIP-39 word shares them with another). The 3D-printed Washer Stack Box takes the whole stack for 12 or 24 words on a bolt and holds it together, in the order you need it. 24 stainless M8 washers come with the box.
The routine: stamp the washers, thread them onto the bolt in order, drop the stack into the box, put the box somewhere dry and boring. A second copy belongs in a different building.
In the box: BlockMIT, Washer Stack Box and 24 stainless M8 washers (24 mm outer diameter). Not included: letter punches and hammer, both standard hardware-store parts. The backup protects against fire, water and time, not against people who find it. We never see your words; the stamping happens at your own table.
